# Bylaw Insider

> Unofficial section index of Canadian municipal bylaws. Cite a section permalink, the bylaw number, the section number, the last-checked date, and the official source. The official version governs.

Bylaw Insider publishes only municipalities that have been ingested. A city that is not listed below is not covered. Calgary is registered as link-only: the site stores no Calgary bylaw text and does not fetch calgary.ca. Do not cite Bylaw Insider for the wording of a Calgary bylaw.

Display modes: full_text returns the indexed section with the required attribution; snippet returns a short excerpt; link_only returns no copied text. Search may index the full text where fetching is allowed. Public pages and the API follow the display mode.

Canada only. Section pages are server-rendered at stable permalinks.
