- (a) The Chief of Police may grant to Second-Hand Dealers written exemptions from any of the requirements in 6.14 (3), for specific types of goods, if in the opinion of the Chief of Police, complying with the requirements would not serve to protect the public from acquiring stolen property through purchases from Second-Hand Dealers.
