No person shall interfere with any member or officer or refuse to permit any member or officer to enter into or upon premises or a fire scene to determine
- a) the cause and origin of a fire;
- b) the activation of a fire alarm system, or
- c) the presence and functioning of a sprinkler system or other fire or life safety protection system.
