Road Construction Area:
- means the components of a roadway within a Temporary Work Zone known as Transition Area, Longitudinal Buffer Area, Work Area, and Termination Area (as described in the Ministry of Transportation Ontario Traffic Manual Temporary Conditions) for which the normal flow of traffic is impacted by lane closures. In the event of a full road closure, the Road Construction Area is the section of the road that is closed, between the beginning and end of the detour route.
