Barrie : Règlement no 2020-107, art. 5.11 — Any person may make a request to the Corporation of the City of Barrie to purchase a permit granting him permission to park in a Paid Parking Zone and, if the prescribed fee in accordance with the City of Barrie’s Fee’s By-law is paid and such a permit is issued, the vehicle of the permit holder may occupy a single designated parking space within the Paid Parking Zone without using a Parking Meter, Pay Station or Digital App

Any person may make a request to the Corporation of the City of Barrie to purchase a permit granting him permission to park in a Paid Parking Zone and, if the prescribed fee in accordance with the City of Barrie’s Fee’s By-law is paid and such a permit is issued, the vehicle of the permit holder may occupy a single designated parking space within the Paid Parking Zone without using a Parking Meter, Pay Station or Digital App;

provided that the said vehicle does not remain in the said individual Paid Parking Zone for a period longer than the maximum time permitted by the meter for that individual Paid Parking Zone. That sticker, card or plate in a form approved by the Corporation of the City of Barrie shall be affixed on the front windshield of the vehicle on the passenger's side and shall be displayed in such a manner as to be readily visible and without limiting the generality of the foregoing shall not be obscured by tinting glass or any other visual obstruction.

Where the sticker, card or plate aforesaid is not displayed in accordance with the provisions of this section, the licence granted herein shall be rendered invalid.
