13. Every applicant for a new master drain layer’s licence must attend at the Building Department for the Corporation and must pay for and complete an examination before the Examination Board and must satisfy the Examination Board that he or she has sufficient experience, knowledge, and skill in the trade.

- 14 The form and content of the examination required pursuant to section 11 of this GENERAL PROVISIONS - LICENCES Schedule shall be determined by the Chief Building Official, in his or her sole discretion
- 15 The Chief Building Official shall set the time of the examination and shall provide the applicant with notice of said time. In no event shall the time for the examination be more than thirty days after receipt of the application by the City
