- (b) the protection of a highway or other works;
- (c) the protection of persons using the highway;
- (d) the safe and expeditious handling of traffic. Division 2 - Traffic Control Devices Standards 27 (1) Traffic control devices must meet the provisions of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada published by the Transportation Association of Canada, as amended, and may include signs prescribed by the Motor Vehicle Act.
