Kelowna By-law 10760, s. 8.1.2 — Fire and Life Safety Bylaw

A Fire Inspector may issue an order to any person to remove or otherwise deal with an accumulation of materials or growth referred to in Section 8.1.1, and upon receipt of such order, that person shall take whatever action is specified in the Fire Inspector's order within the time period specified therein, failing which the Fire Department may take whatever action is necessary to remove the fire hazard at the expense of the person to whom the order is directed or the owner or occupier of the premises.
