If the person on whom a violation ticket has been served does not dispute the allegation or the amount of the fine contained in the ticket or otherwise fails to respond to a ticket under the provisions of the Offence Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 338, as amended, an administrative fee of $35.00 plus applicable taxes shall be added to the amount of the fine contained in the ticket.
