Exception:

Section 7.1 shall not apply to:
(a) Exception: Section 7.1 shall not apply to: Research facilities under The Animals for Research Act, R.S.O., 1990, C.A. 22 as amended, or any successor legislation;
(b) Educational facilities;
(c) Parades licensed by the City or Regional Municipality of Waterloo;
(d) Circuses;
(e) Veterinary hospitals,
(f) Pounds operated by the City;
(g) The Cambridge and District Humane Society,
(h) Any other facility or location that isotherwise permitted to keep such animals in this by-law;
(i) Any Federal or Provincial Enforcement Office; or
(j) Anyone holding a licence or temporary or permanent loan agreement issued under appropriate Provincial or Federal Wildlife Legislation which permits the keeping of animals under stated conditions
