A snow emergency condition shall exist for that period of time during which it is necessary, in the opinion of the Chief of Police, to prohibit the parking or standing of motor vehicles on, and to require the moving or removal of vehicles from some or all of the Snow Routes listed in Schedule 21, in order to facilitate the ploughing or removal of snow.
