In the case of parking meter zones in which parking is timed by pay and display parking meters, upon the display of the paper dispensed by such meter, in a vehicle and in accordance with the requirements of this by-law, one parking space in the parking meter zone for which said meter is applicable may be lawfully occupied by such vehicle for the time period equivalent to the payment deposited.
