If the dog is not redeemed by the owner during the time period identified in subsection 3.3(4), the dog shall become the property of the City`s Animal Services Provider and the they may:
- (a) put the dog up for adoption upon the payment of an adoption fee; or
- (b) release the dog to its owner upon compliance with the requirements for release in subsection 3.3(5).
