No Person shall fail to immediately and as often as necessary apply or cause to be applied sand, salt or some other suitable material on any Sidewalk on any Highway in front of, alongside or at the rear of his or her Lot so as to completely cover any portion of the Sidewalk that remains or becomes slippery from any cause after removing the snow and ice from the Sidewalk.
