City guide
Vancouver filing a complaint bylaw
Vancouver writes this as a bylaw. The same rule is also searched as by-law and as "by law".

This is a guide, not legal advice and not the bylaw. Bylaw Insider does not re-host bylaw text. Amounts, deadlines, and wording are on the ticket and on the city site. We last checked the official links on 15 October 2026.
VanConnect and 311 are the city's intake for bylaw complaints: noise, street parking, property use, and similar subjects. Give a precise address, say whether it is happening now, and keep the case number.
Emergency harm is 911. A fee dispute with a private tower is usually not a street-bylaw file; start with the receipt and the provincial towing rules. Bylaw Insider does not forward reports and does not contact city staff for readers.
