Lethbridge : Règlement no 5658, art. (8) — Business Licence Bylaw

The City Council may if it deems expedient at any time when it anticipates an unusual demand for the service of taxis or other motor vehicles used for hire in the City of Lethbridge owing to fairs, celebrations or other gatherings in the City or in the vicinity thereof, by resolution authorize the granting of special licenses to taxis or other motor vehicles used for hire in the City for such period not exceeding one week as the Council may think it fit and, in such case, a special license fee payable for each such taxi or motor vehicle shall be $5.00.
