- 3.4.1 The Fire Department may, to the extent authorized by sections 8(3)(g) and 66 of the Community Charter S.B. 2003, c. 26, take all necessary measures for the prevention, suppression, control and extinguishment of fires, for mitigating the effects of incidents involving dangerous goods, Natural and/or Human-Made Disasters and for the protection of life and property, including conducting assistance response and administering emergency medical services
