Subject to Subsections 8.2.2 and 8.3.3, an owner or occupier of premises with multi- family residential, commercial, professional service, institutional, industrial or assembly occupancies must ensure that all refuse and recycling containers used be non- combustible including lids, unless approved by the Fire Chief or designate and are stored not less than three (3) meters from any:
- a) combustible materials including, without limitation, construction materials; or
- b) unprotected building openings or overhangs.
