Nanaimo : Règlement no 5000, art. 18(2) — Traffic and Highways Regulation Bylaw

If the person entitled to the possession of any detained object does not within thirty (30) days of its detention, including the date of its detention, sign the undertaking and pay the fees, costs and expenses and it appears to the General Manager, Engineering and Public Works (Bylaw 5000.048) that the object detained has a market value, the General Manager, Engineering and Public Works (Bylaw 5000.048) may cause it to be sold by public auction to the highest bidder, or cause it to be disposed of as garbage.
