Prior to the issuance of any permit under this Part, the applicant shall deposit with the General Manager, Engineering and Public Works (Bylaw 5000.048) a sum of money sufficient to pay for the cost of repairing any damage likely to be done to the highway, and as sufficient security that the obligations imposed by the permit are fulfilled within the time specified by the permit.
