- 478.11.5 Permit – Multiple Applicants – Extension of 180 day duration At portable sign locations with multiple potential applicants, only one sign permit shall be granted at a time, such permit shall be granted to the first applicant to submit a properly completed application for the portable sign location and shall be for a maximum period of 180 days. After the first applicant’s 180 day permit expires, they shall only be granted approval for extensions of 30 days at a time. Said extensions shall only be granted in the event that there are no other active applications for the portable sign location
