Ottawa : Règlement no 2016-326, art. 106(2) — Permanent Signs on Private Property By-law

For the purposes of this by-law, the maximum sign face area is calculated by determining the total area contained within the rectilinear outline that uses the least number of horizontal and vertical lines to enclose the sign face and all other components of the sign that constitute the complete message.
