The height of a Fence at any given point shall be measured from the grade at the base of the Fence, exclusive of any artificial embankment, provided:
where changes in grade contours along the Fence line result in changes in height of the Fence, the height of the Fence is deemed to be the average height of the Fence over any 2.44 metre (8 foot) portion, and
- (b) where grade elevations between adjacent lots differ at the boundary between the lots, the height of any Boundary Fence between the two lots shall be calculated in accordance with section 5 of this by-law.
