Every person receiving a ticket from a ticket machine shall place the ticket face up on the top of the instrument panel of the vehicle, near the left side, so that the entire ticket is clearly visible through the windshield from the outside and, if the vehicle is other than an automobile, the ticket shall be placed face up in an equally conspicuous place on the vehicle.
