Note: Except where otherwise expressly provided in this Chapter, and pursuant to other provincial statutes, such as the Planning Act, the maxi- mum fine for violation of the Code is specified in section 62 of the Provincial Offences Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 400, which indicates that a party guilty ofan offence is liable to a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5000.00).
