Subject to the maximum fines prescribed in Section 429(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001, a Corporation that is convicted of an offence under this Bylaw is liable for:
- On first conviction, to a fine of the value of the Tree injuries or removals according to the CTLA Trunk Formula method, $100,000, or $10,000 per Tree, whichever is greatest;
- and On any subsequent conviction, to a fine of the value of the Tree injuries or removals according to the CTLA Trunk Formula method, $250,000, or $25,000 per Tree, whichever is greatest.
