Despite the penalties identified in Sections 25(2) and 25(3), where the Injury or Destruction of Trees occurs during migratory bird nesting season between April 1 to August 31 in each calendar year, the penalties are double, subject to the maximum fines prescribed in Section 429(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
