Approval of Stationary Sources The One Hour Equivalent Sound Level
- (Leq) and/or the Logarithmic Mean impulse Sound Level
- (LLM) produced by the stationary sources shall be obtained by measurement or prediction. The estimation of the Leq and/or LLM of the stationary source under impact assessment shall reflect the principle of “predictable worst case” noise impact. The “predictable worst case” noise impact occurs during the hour when the difference between the predicted sound level produced by the stationary source and the background sound level of the natural environment is at a maximum.
