- 614.8.9 Not removed - removal by City - owner’s expense Notwithstanding the provisions of Sections 614.24.1 through 614.24.4 inclusive, upon the failure of the person required to remove the snow and ice as provided in this Chapter the Engineer in lieu of or in addition to any other remedy provided by the Chapter is authorized to clear away and remove snow and ice at the expense of the owner and in default of payment upon demand, the amount incurred in removal of snow and ice shall be recovered from the owner by action in any competent court or be added by the Clerk to the Collector’s roll and collected as municipal taxes against land
