Caledon By-law 2017-68, s. 5.25(1) — Fences By-law

an above-ground swimming pool with a deck that has:

• (a) a minimum height of 1.2 metres above finished grade;
• (b) a guard complying with the Ontario Building Code;
• (c) all structures below the deck with a smooth surface; and
• (d) steps which swing up to close the top guard with a locking device which secures the steps in a stationary position as a gate; or ( ) stairs with a protective guard acting as a gate in accordance with Sections 5.22 through 5.24; the distance between the lowest point of the gate and the deck shall not exceed 100 millimetres;
