Where an Owner has made an application for development approvals in accordance with the Planning Act and has been issued a Tree Permit which required the posting of financial securities, the amount of any financial security to be collected by the City as part of the Planning Act application may be reduced provided the value of the works, specifically associated with landscaping, meets or exceeds the value of the securities tied to the Tree Permit.
