Markham By-law 277-97, s. 8.1(7) — Fence By-law

Notwithstanding that the authority to grant an exemption is delegated to the Manager, and that he or she may have already exercised the delegated power, Council shall retain the right to exercise the authority to grant or deny an exemption in accordance with the conditions set out in section 8(5) and 8(6) of the By-law if an appeal of the Manager‟s decision is received by the Clerk within 10 days of the decision.
