Pickering By-law 8154/25, s. 86 — Where a sign is erected or displayed in contravention with any provision of this By-law, and the sign has no person’s name on it, but a telephone number appears on the sign, any person to whom the telephone number is listed in a telephone directory, including any internet directory, shall be presumed to have been the person who erected or displayed the sign, which presumption may be rebutted by evidence to the contrary on a balance of probabilities
