By-laws:

  • a) Each reference to a by-law in this By-law, unless otherwise specified, is

a reference to a by-law of the Corporation, and, in every case, includes all applicable amendments to the by-law, including successor by-laws.

  • b) The Corporation retains the right to pass, repeal and amend any by- laws for regulating, supervising and governing the parking of vehicles, for imposing fees, for imposing penalties for offences, and for other similar matters. The Council recognizes, however, that Municipal Parking Services works with these by-laws on a regular basis. Where Municipal Parking Services recommends passage, amendment or repeal of these by-laws, it may do so by way of memorandum to the Council without necessity of a formal report. The memorandum must set out the reason for the recommended passage, amendment or repeal.
