Parking in Vancouver
Vancouver écrit bylaw. La même règle se cherche aussi comme by-law et comme « by law ».

This is a guide, not legal advice and not the bylaw. Bylaw Insider does not re-host bylaw text. Amounts, deadlines, and wording are on the ticket and on the city site. We last checked the official links on 15 October 2026.
Vancouver's street parking lives mainly in the Street and Traffic By-law (No. 2849) and its schedules: pay parking, passenger zones, permit areas, and stopping restrictions. The city's bylaw finder is the index. Automated clients sometimes get a 403 from vancouver.ca; the page is still the official one, and it opens in a browser.
A city ticket is paid to the City of Vancouver through the process printed on it. A private-lot tow is a different file: signs, a contract, and provincial towing rules. Impound release is arranged with the yard named on the receipt, not with a street-parking clerk.
The directory lists a Vancouver firm only after a real submission is approved.
